Are past winners listed publicly?+
Yes. Winner lists are published on the IIJA website following the Awards Evening and remain available in perpetuity in the IIJA archive.
Who can nominate for IIJA?+
Companies and individuals across the global jewellery, bullion and design ecosystem can nominate themselves or be nominated by peers. Nominations are open to all eligible parties regardless of IBJA membership status.
Can I nominate someone else?+
Yes. Peer nominations are accepted, provided the nominating party has the consent of the entity being nominated and can supply contact details for verification.
Are international companies eligible to nominate?+
Yes. IIJA actively welcomes international jewellery brands, particularly under Group 06 (International & People). Cross-border nominees may pay in INR via Razorpay.
How do I nominate for IIJA?+
Visit the Nominate section of the IIJA website and complete the multi-step nomination flow. The process takes approximately 8 minutes and includes company information, category selection, an AI-assisted achievement statement, supporting documents and payment.
Can I nominate for multiple categories?+
Yes. Companies and individuals can apply for multiple award categories at the same flat rate per category. There are no bulk discounts.
When do nominations close?+
Nominations close on 31 August 2026 unless extended by the IIJA secretariat. Late nominations may be accepted at the secretariat's discretion.
What documents do I need to submit with my nomination?+
Supporting documents may include the company catalogue or brochure, certifications, media coverage, brand creatives, financial highlights, export documents, design portfolio and founder bios. Total upload size is capped at 50MB per submission.
Can I edit my nomination after submission?+
Once payment is completed, edits require approval from the IIJA secretariat. Minor corrections (typos, contact details) are accommodated; substantive changes may not be permitted after the jury review begins.
How long does the nomination process take?+
The nomination flow is designed to be completed in approximately 8 minutes. A save-and-continue facility is available so you can return later via a magic link sent to your email.

What is the nomination fee?+
The IIJA nomination fee is ₹21,000 plus GST per award category, per nominee. The total payable for multiple categories is calculated as ₹21,000 × number of categories + 18% GST.
What does the nomination fee cover?+
The nomination fee covers the independent evaluation process, jury administration, research, verification and participation in the India International Jewellery Awards. Fees fund the deliberation rounds, jury access, audit oversight and category research required to run a credible, independently-audited awards process.
Are nomination fees refundable?+
The nomination fee is non-refundable irrespective of the judging outcome, as processing, jury access and evaluation begin the moment your entry is received. This policy is acknowledged at the time of submission.

What is the GST rate on the nomination fee?+
The applicable GST rate is 18%, charged on the base nomination fee. The GST breakup is shown transparently at checkout.
Can I pay the nomination or delegate fee by bank transfer?+
Yes. At checkout, choose 'Bank Transfer (NEFT/RTGS/IMPS)' to pay into the IIJA account held with Equitas Small Finance Bank (account details are shown on screen and emailed to you). Email your payment receipt to events@teflas.com and amy@teflas.com within 48 hours, quoting your reference number. Your entry is confirmed and your GST invoice issued as soon as the secretariat verifies the credit.
How is the jury selected?+
The IIJA jury is composed of senior industry leaders, designers, gemmologists and international experts, curated by Tefla's in consultation with IBJA. Jurors do not evaluate categories in which they have a direct commercial interest.
How are nominations evaluated?+
Each nomination is reviewed against the criteria published for its category. Jurors score independently, scores are aggregated and audited and winners are determined by the highest weighted score within each category.
Are jury decisions independently audited?+
Yes. The evaluation process is overseen by an independent auditor, whose attestation is published on the IIJA website following the Awards Evening.
Will I get feedback if my nomination is not shortlisted?+
Shortlisted-but-not-selected nominees may opt in to receive a brief, anonymised juror comment on their status page. This is unique to IIJA and is intended to support future nominations.
How can I attend IIJA 2026?+
Delegates may register via the Tickets section of the website. IBJA Platinum members attend as Special Invitees (complimentary, on application); all other delegates pay ₹3,500 all-inclusive.
What is the delegate entry fee?+
Entry is complimentary for IBJA Platinum members (Special Invitee). For all other delegates and the general public, the fee is ₹3,500 all-inclusive (incl. 18% GST).
Are IBJA members entitled to complimentary entry?+
IBJA Platinum members attend as Special Invitees with complimentary participation — one pass per company, on application before 31 August 2026. All other delegates may register at ₹3,500 all-inclusive.
How do I verify my IBJA membership for entry?+
During delegate registration you will provide your IBJA Membership ID. The IIJA secretariat verifies the ID with IBJA within 48 working hours, and a pass is issued upon approval.
What is the dress code for the IIJA Awards Evening?+
The dress code is Indian Formal or Black Tie.
When will winners be announced?+
Winners are announced live on stage at the IIJA Awards Evening on 2 October 2026. Press releases and the complete winners list are published on the IIJA website within 24 hours of the announcement.

How is my data used and protected?+
Personal data submitted via IIJA is used solely for the purposes of nomination evaluation, delegate management, secretariat communications and statutory invoicing. IIJA complies with the India DPDP Act 2023 and applicable international standards.
Will IIJA have international editions?+
IIJA 2026 is the inaugural edition. International editions and regional spotlight editions are under active evaluation for 2027 onwards.
