Four rules that turn a claim into a process.
The IIJA jury is selected for industry standing — not commercial relationship with Tefla's or IBJA. Selection is overseen by a Jury Constitution Committee whose deliberations are recorded.
Signed. Then audited.
Every juror signs the Charter. Every score is then audited end-to-end by a Big Four or equivalent firm, which certifies:
- Every submission judged against published criteria
- Every score recorded and aggregated correctly
- Every recusal protocol followed
- Shortlists reflect the jury's evaluation — only
I will evaluate every submission against the published category criteria — and against no other consideration.
I will declare all commercial, advisory and family interests at the outset and recuse from any category in which a conflict exists.
I will not discuss submissions outside the jury deliberation framework.
I will not accept gifts, hospitality, or representations from any nominee or potential nominee during the evaluation period.
I will not disclose my role as a juror publicly until the official jury announcement.
I will sign my evaluation. Every score I record is attributable to me.

IIJA welcomes recommendations for jury membership. Future-edition jurors are drawn from senior figures across retail, design, manufacturing, bullion, gemmology, trade leadership and international jewellery.

Common questions about the jury.
The IIJA 2026 jury will be unveiled in stages between Q2 and Q3 of 2026, ahead of the nomination submission deadline. Industry Veterans and Trade Body Leadership are confirmed first; Master Designers and Gemmologists follow; International Experts are announced last.
