Privacy Policy.
Effective date · 1 February 2026
1. Who we are
This privacy policy is published by Tefla’s (“Tefla’s”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), the producer of the India International Jewellery Awards(“IIJA”), presented in association with the India Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA). It governs the collection, use, storage and disclosure of information collected through indiainternationaljewelleryawards.com and any related Tefla’s properties (collectively, the “Website”).
By using the Website, submitting a nomination, registering as a delegate, or otherwise sharing information with us, you consent to the practices described here.
2. Information we collect
We collect only the information necessary to process nominations, issue delegate passes and communicate with you:
- Identity & contact: full name, designation, company, business email, mobile number, city and country.
- Nomination content: categories selected, achievement summary, supporting materials (images, decks, PDFs, links) you voluntarily upload.
- Payment metadata: transaction id, order id, amount, method (Razorpay / bank transfer), payment status. We do not store card numbers, CVV, UPI PIN or net-banking credentials — these are captured directly by our PCI-DSS compliant payment partner Razorpay.
- Technical data: IP address, user-agent, device type, referrer, and cookie identifiers used for analytics and fraud prevention.
- Correspondence: any email, WhatsApp or phone conversation with our secretariat.
3. How we use your information
- To evaluate and administer your nomination or delegate registration.
- To issue tax invoices, confirmations, PDFs and pass credentials.
- To share nomination shortlists and juror briefs with the independent IIJA jury (whose members are contractually bound to confidentiality).
- To send transactional emails and, where you have opted in, event updates and future edition invitations.
- To detect fraud, prevent abuse and comply with legal, tax and regulatory obligations.
4. Sharing & disclosure
We share information only with parties essential to delivering the awards:
- Razorpay Software Private Limited — to process online payments (subject to Razorpay’s own privacy policy).
- Equitas Small Finance Bank — for bank-transfer reconciliation.
- Resend — our transactional email delivery provider.
- Cloud infrastructure providers hosting the Website and database within secured data centres.
- IIJA Jury & IBJA — nomination content required for evaluation.
- Government, tax or law-enforcement authorities where legally required.
We do not sell, rent or trade personal data to any third party for marketing purposes.
5. Cookies & analytics
The Website uses a small number of first-party cookies and privacy-respecting analytics to remember your wizard progress, keep you signed in to the admin area, and understand aggregate traffic patterns. You can disable cookies in your browser settings; core booking and nomination flows may not function fully without them.
6. Data security
All data in transit is encrypted using TLS 1.2+. Payment information is tokenised and handled by Razorpay, which is certified PCI-DSS Level 1. Access to the admin console is restricted to named secretariat members via credentialed login and audit trails.
7. Data retention
Nomination and registration records are retained for a minimum of eight (8) years to meet statutory GST and income-tax requirements under Indian law. You may request earlier deletion of non-statutory records by writing to us at the address below.
